Worklab’s Meeting was held in People´s History Museum at Manchester 18 & 19 June 2012. The Minutes will be online in late July. The main topics of the meeting were Worklab’s strategy and coming projects.

Also the board was supplemented. The secretary of Worklab Nick Mansfield with board members Morten Bo Almstrup, José Gameiro and Torsten Nilsson resigned from the board after several years of duties. Thanks for co-operation and comradeship which will hopefully continue in many ways! The new Worklab board can be seen in the picture above: Chairman Kalle Kallio (left, Finnish Labour Museum), secretary Katy Archer (People’s History Museum, UK), Louise Karlskov Skyggebjerg (Workers’ Museum, Denmark), Sofia Seifarth (The Museum of Work, Sweden), Dagmar Kift (LWL-Industriemuseum, Germany) and Irena Marušič (Technical Museum of Slovenia). Vice Chairman Udo Wiesinger (Museum Arbeitswelt Steyr, Austria) is unfortunately missing from the picture. Therefore, the happy man on the right is not Vice Chairman Udo but Nick Mansfield who stepped down from the board as a long-standing secretary of our network.
