General meeting 2007 – Agenda
Dear members of WORKLAB
This is the first announcement of our next general meeting that will take place at The Workers’ Museum, Copenhagen, Denmark, November 8.-10.2007.
The general meeting has its agenda in our statutes.
The preliminary professional programme looks at the time being like this:
- Extension at People’s History in Manchester. Planning and problems.
- New exhibiton “Industrial Life” in Museum of Work, Norrköping, Sweden
- Working_world.net – a new concept in Museum Arbitswelt, Steyr, Austria.
- The project for the Danish National Museum’s new Industrial Museum in Brede, Copenhagen.
- Tour through the new permanent exhibition at The Workers Museum “Industrial Work”, opened 31.8.2007.
Presentation of “Dreamfactories – Industri and Modernism” ( A Nordic Baltic travelling exhibition about modernism and working life since WW2 on both sides of The Iron Curtain. Produced by The Workers’ Museum, but made of seven countries in common, opened 31.10.2007. You can use a dummy-login: Username:xy

The agenda is still open for further proposals.
And we consider a guided tour through the architecture of the workers’ industrial Copenhagen.
More precise details about fee, prices etc. will be ready after this summer. But now you have the possibility to make a preleminary reservation in your calendar.
